During your visit, please make sure to enjoy as many treats and desserts that you would like.
Another guest termed the atmosphere here at Candlelite Inn Bed & Breakfast to be one of casual elegance, which definitely fits, and we want you to feel comfortable and right at home from the moment you walk in the doors. As the parking is in the rear of the inn, just continue into the driveway to the back upon arrival. You will find plenty of space in the Candlelite Inn private parking lot off of the avenue. There are fun vintage doorbells at both the front and the back Candlelite Inn bed and breakfast doors. When you get settled in and we are happy to assist with bags, besides a complimentary selection of hot and chilled beverages, we can always bring plenty of fresh desserts to your room, or ice, or even freshly popped corn for movie time. If we are not busy baking in the kitchen, just call the Candlelite Inn Bed and Breakfast number for anything you need.
Besides your room key, you will have your own key to one of the Candlelite Inn entrance doors, to easily come and go as you wish and when you wish.
Unlike the vast majority of Airbnb, VRBO rentals, other Ludington Airbnbs, and many bed and breakfasts, Candlelite Inn Bed & Breakfast has been inspected and approved by Michigan Lake to Lake Bed & Breakfast Association since we opened our doors. For your comfort, this entails having a detailed eight page check list to pass, and if we missed even one item, we would not receive our certification.

We are still asked occasionally if breakfast is included in the rate, and it certainly is! We like your special breakfasts to be a celebration. Please let us know your favorite foods, or if you would like to be surprised for breakfast. Also, let us know when you wish to eat, and if you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions we need to be aware of. Here at Candlelite Inn, we really enjoy cooking gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, etc.
Your Candlelite Inn Bed & Breakfast innkeepers love to prepare a delectable full classic breakfast served on fine china at your time of choosing. Over the summer and into fall, as many food items as possible are purchased from the local farm markets, and we always shop daily year round so as to have very fresh and the best possible ingredients sparing no expense. We serve your full delicious breakfast family style when and where you prefer.
You will have the same lovely candlelit breakfast whether you are rising early to go boating or fishing, or sail on the SS Badger Ludington car ferry, or if you are wanting a nice late breakfast. Guests also relish being able to sip their coffee or other favorite beverages outside on one of the decks.
Freshly baked desserts, snacks, ice cream, and hot and chilled beverages are always available. Please feel free to help yourselves to yummy treats whenever you like.
Another question we are asked often is if there are shared bathrooms. Candlelite Inn Bed & Breakfast is blessed with seven uniquely themed guest rooms and ten bathrooms in all. Each guest room does have its own in room bathroom (no sharing or walking down a hallway). The Romantic Retreat Suite offers an oversized Jacuzzi for two with candles to light and a separate shower. The Victorian Room offers a tub - shower combination. The Michigander, Ludington, Alicia's, Garden and Lace Rooms all offer a shower in your bathroom. The bath in the Lace Room includes a small shower, but the in room bath area is rather creative, and being the smallest and coziest, is our best priced room.
