We are very happy to offer Veteran Roasters coffee, as our special Candlelite Inn Bed & Breakfast morning coffee. Supporting and employing veterans in Chicago, Veteran Roasters is a small business & we like that too. After trying many coffees over the years, sister Susan gifted us with Cup O' Joe to enjoy. Judging by the feedback and by how smooth this coffee is, our guests are really enjoying this change.
Since we opened Candlelite Inn Bed and Breakfast in 2007, you have always been able to enjoy your lovely hot breakfast when you wish. Candlelite Inn B&B of Ludington also specializes in serving our same beautiful hot breakfast for guests sailing on the S.S. Badger Car Ferry. As we are about two minutes from the Ludington car ferry dock, this allows you plenty of time to enjoy a leisurely breakfast, and reach the dock at about 8:00am, in plenty of time for sailing to Manitowoc, Wisconsin.
We know that this is your special getaway, and we want it to be a fantastic one. If you wish to sleep in, that is great too. You certainly don't have to worry at all about whether or not you are going to miss out on breakfast. Candlelite Inn Bed & Breakfast does like to cater to each guest, so you can sample as little or as much as you wish for your breakfast. Everyone has different preferences as well. Our juices are pure juice (never concentrated) and are top quality. A number of our breakfast items are from local providers. In season, most of our fruits and produce are purchased from local farmers and small local markets. Please let us know before you check in at our Ludington Michigan bed and breakfast if you prefer soy, rice, almond or coconut milk.
By listening to our guests, we know that most of you love classic quality breakfast foods and we shop every day. Kyle usually makes daily trips to several local markets and shops. Candlelite Inn Bed & Breakfast's sausage bake and four cheese egg bake are always a huge hit. Our most requested cinnamon cream coffee cake is uniquely scrumptious. Special baked french toast dishes, sticky buns, and Candlelite eggs are other favorites. We also know some of you even dream of our hand chopped home style potatoes, carefully prepared by Chris in small batches every morning. These dishes are served along with plenty of thick sliced bacon, sausage links, a variety of fresh fruits (we shop daily), Greek and non dairy yogurts, breads, local jam and a variety of local maple and other specialty syrups.
The Keurig is available day and night for coffee and hot water. There are probably twenty types of teas always on hand, plus cocoas, along with the commercial Bunn coffee maker serving up Veteran's Roasters all morning long.
