The Candlelite Inn Bed and Breakfast of Ludington is a non-smoking lodging establishment.
- Lodging Check-in: 4:00 p.m.
- Lodging Check-out: 11:00 ish a.m.
- Please let us know if you will arrive past 6:00 p.m. so we can plan accordingly.
- Rates are per room with one or two persons.
No more than two guests are allowed per room. Minimum age is 10 years.
Candlelite Inn Bed & Breakfast Reservation and Cancellation Policies:
As we are a small seasonal business, cancellations have a significant impact. As we love and would like to keep our business, guests must follow the cancellation policy without exception.
A minimum deposit of one night's room rate must be received within seven (7) days of your reservation.
Full payment for accommodations is expected upon arrival.
Lodging reservations will be confirmed by mail, email, or if made by phone, we can give you your confirmation number at that time.
Your deposit may be made via check, Visa, American Express, Pay Pal, Discover, or MasterCard.
Deposits are returned, less a $20 handling fee, for cancellations received one week in advance of arrival dates.
If you must cancel with less than seven (7) days notice, we will be unable to refund your deposit, however, your deposit can be applied to a new reservation unless the cancellation is received less than 24 hours prior to arrival date.
Our policy is a generous one. However, if you change your reservation dates with less than seven days notice, and then cancel that reservation, the entire amount of your stay will be due in full.
Deposits will be held for one year.
Cancellations made on the same day as expected arrival will not receive a refund or a credit.
Groups of two rooms or more, full house bookings, special events, and holiday dates and weekends are subject to a fourteen (14) day cancellation policy.

Smoking
Our goal is to make our guests feel as comfortable as possible at The Candlelite Inn Bed & Breakfast. Many people, including ourselves, are non smokers and enjoy a smoke free environment. Due to health and safety reasons, smoking of any type is not permitted in the inn. This includes cigarettes of any kind, cigars, vaping, marijuana, etc. We really appreciate your consideration.
Guests are welcome to smoke cigarettes or cigars only, outside on the far deck or in the back Candlelite garden.
Anyone smoking any substance or vaping inside in guest rooms will be asked to leave immediately, will be charged for the entire reservation, and will incur an additional $200.00 cleaning charge.
Alcohol
Responsible use of alcohol is allowed on our premises.
Damages
If any damages to the rooms or common areas are incurred, or if any items are missing, guests will be charged accordingly.
Pets
We welcome all service and therapy dogs.
Ludington Business Travelers: The Candlelite Inn Bed & Breakfast also welcomes business travelers who would like to enjoy our special amenities, and all of the charm that hotels and motels just can not provide. We show our appreciation for repeat patronage through corporate rates, and special mid week rates are often available during the off season.

Candlelite Inn Bed & Breakfast gift certificates are good for five years with no black out dates and we are open year round.

Quoted prices do not include 8% state & local lodging taxes.
A one night reservation requires full prepayment.
10% senior discounts for our guests 55 or older and for our military guests. (limit of one discount per booking please - either senior or military)
During the entire month of November, all military (active and former) receive half off your booking.
