Candlelite Inn Ludington Bed & Breakfast has a dozen fun and intriguing murder mysteries to select from. Besides scheduled mysteries,  private murder mystery parties can be scheduled for groups of 8 or more year round. Add $130.00 per couple, plus the cost of your favorite room. These fabulous Ludington murder mysteries all include a two night getaway complete with two full buffet breakfasts, a welcome reception, special dinner, desserts, surprise goodies, and participation in the Murder Mystery! For those groups who can only get away for one night, with a minimum of four rooms, ask about the $200.00 per couple murder mystery Candlelite Inn dinner and dessert special.  (Please note, the Romantic Retreat Suite is an additional $25.00 plus taxes.)

May 9 - 11, 2008 - Mother's Day Weekend - Getaway at the Candlelite Inn - All our female guests will receive a red rose in a keepsake vase, and request your favorite evening desserts nightly - we are already thinking of chocolate hand dipped strawberries, warm brownies a la mode with plenty of whipped cream, Candlelite Inn's signature chocolate creme brulee, and this is just for starters!

June 13 - 15, 2008 - Father's Day Weekend & Murder Mystery Lover's Weekend - A Lethal Luau The tiki torches and outdoor fireplace will be glowing and the inn will be abuzz with the excitement of this who done it with a tropical theme.  We can't wait for this mystery ourselves, with a welcome reception, evening desserts, special dinner, your favorite breakfasts items, treats and toasts. Add $130 per couple plus the cost of your favorite room. Join Us for Father's Day weekend, and enjoy the inn, relaxing on one of the decks or around the fireplace, experience the beautiful Ludington beaches, lighthouses and pier, and figure out "who done it".

July 4, 2008 - Come experience a small town America 4th of July.  Cushioned chairs and rockers will be out at dawn, so our guests will have a prime view of the parade as it passes right by Candlelite Inn.  Enjoy all of the music, floats, ice cream, shiny vintage and modern automobiles, plus view our own float as it glides by.  The famous Scottville Clown Band will also be playing, and they have been entertaining audiences for over 100 years.  Later, watch a spectacular sunset over Lake Michigan, and be dazzled by the fireworks as they blast off over the lake. Stay through the weekend for the West Shore Art League Fine Arts and Crafts Fair with 180 booths, food vendors and local entertainment - July 6th and 7th.

October 31 - November 2, 2008 - Halloween Murder Mystery Lovers Weekend - 1950 Class Reunion Turned Deadly
The Halloween fun includes your favorite breakfast dishes served when you wish, a welcome reception featuring your favorite drinks and appetizers, special spooky dinner, desserts, surprise goodies, and participation in the Murder Mystery.  Add $130 per couple plus the cost of your favorite room.

November 7 - 9, 2008: Annual Super Scrapbooking Retreat - All meals, drinks, snacks and desserts included. Wednesday December 31, 2008 - New Year's Eve Murder Mystery Thrills - 1936 Sordid Hollywood Premier.   Be part of an exciting one evening murder mystery including your favorite appetizers, dinner, desserts, surprises, prizes and a great turn of the century mystery for you to solve.  Ring in the new year here with new friends and family (we would suggest to be near one of the Victorian kissing balls at midnight).  Toasts and treats at midnight as well. Add $130 per couple plus the cost of  your favorite room. Last year, Candlelite Inn Bed & Breakfast's New Year's murder mystery was featured in the Ludington Daily News, and on radio with the Travel Queen.  This mystery will be a fun one regarding costumes, so let your imagination run free.

Your special event at Candlelite Inn Bed & Breakfast of Ludington includes the complete use of our main floor. Your guests are free to mingle between the enclosed porch, parlor, living room and formal dining room. This available space provides a unique yet intimate setting that is not available at restaurants or most other facilities. Dining tables can be arranged to your needs, and you can provide your own catering or we can give you options. Scrapbookers can enjoy getaways with plenty of table space, families unite for special gatherings, and businesses are afforded a professional yet cost effective and home-like ambiance for meetings, special dinners, and seminars. The inn also provides the perfect setting for showers, private parties, teas, and intimate wedding events.  Candlelite Inn's own Chef Jacob Shoemaker is right here to assist you in making your wishes a reality.
