January 16 - 18, 2009 - The Lethal Luau Murder Mystery Enjoy the long Martin Luther King holiday weekend at the Candlelite Inn. It will be warm and toasty inside, and we will be serving Hawaiian cuisine. Aloha! Add $140 per couple plus the cost of your favorite room. Stay over a third night and enjoy a complimentary five course dinner.
February is Chocolate Lover's Month here at Candlelite Inn. We always have a delicious assortment for our guests, but we will try to outdo ourselves in February. Come any time during the month to enjoy award winning chocolates on your pillows, whipped hot cocoa, evening house specialties like chocolate creme brulee and chocolate dipped strawberries. What a great way to celebrate Valentine's day or just to getaway by yourself or with that special person or group. Ludington is incredibly beautiful during the winter.
March 21st, 2009 - Saturday Night Cleaver- Find those disco clothes and enjoy your Saturday night at the inn dining, laughing, and solving a who done it. Add $140 per couple plus the cost of your room.
April 4 - 6, 2009 - Taming the Wild West Murder Mystery. Grab a cowboy hat and join us for some barbeque. This mystery is filling up quickly. Add $140 per couple plus room rate.
May 9 - 11, 2009 - Murder at Sea on the French Rivera. Add $140 per couple plus the cost of your room rate or $70.00 for single, plus the cost of your room.
July 4, 2009 - Come experience a small town America 4th of July. Cushioned chairs and rockers will be out at dawn, so our guests will have a prime view of the parade as it passes right by Candlelite Inn. Enjoy all of the music, floats, ice cream, shiny vintage and modern automobiles. The famous Scottville Clown Band will also be playing, and they have been entertaining audiences for over 100 years. Later, watch a spectacular sunset over Lake Michigan, and be dazzled by the fireworks as they blast off over the lake. Stay for the West Shore Art League Fine Arts and Crafts Fair with 180 booths, food vendors and local entertainment.
October 30 - November 1, 2009 - The Great Chicago Caper of 1928. Have a ball getting all gussied up and figure out who knocked off the bad guy. Add $140 per couple plus your room rate.
December 26th, 2009 - Life is a Cabernet - Enjoy a variety of wines, a delicious dinner, and play detective. Add $140 per couple plus your room cost.

Both the Ludington Room and Americana Room are on the second floor, and each has a separate outside entrance. Your well behaved four legged friends are very welcome here. Upon your arrival, we will have pet bowls, doggie towels, plastic bags, and a welcome treat waiting. Please read and follow our pet guidelines.
Are you looking for somewhere warm and unique for your special event? We offer exclusive event hosting for up to 26 people. Your special event at Candlelite Inn Bed & Breakfast of Ludington includes the complete use of our main floor. Your guests are free to mingle between the enclosed porch, parlor, living room and formal dining room. This available space provides a unique yet intimate setting that is not available at restaurants or most other facilities. Dining tables can be arranged to your needs, and you can provide your own catering or we can give you options. Scrapbookers can enjoy getaways with plenty of table space, families unite for special gatherings, and businesses are afforded a professional yet cost effective and home-like ambiance for meetings, special dinners, and seminars. The inn also provides the perfect setting for showers, private parties, teas, and intimate wedding events.
Another wonderfully unique option is to enjoy the Candlelite Inn Bed and Breakfast dining room for a delightfully romantic private candlelight dinner, or dine within your own room.
Special Event Rates:
$225.00 for events starting before 5:00 p.m. - Monday through Thursday
$250.00 for events beginning at 5:00 p.m. or later - Monday through Thursday
$275.00 for events starting before 5:00 p.m. - Friday through Sunday
$295.00 for events beginning at 5:00 p.m. or later Friday through Sunday
This includes your use of the entire main floor for up to four hours. A 50% deposit is required to book an event, and it is non refundable.
The entire house including all seven of our lovely guest rooms is also available for rental, with special off season rates.
Large groups, special events, and holidays are subject to a fourteen (14) day cancellation policy.
