This past weekend began with lots of laughter, which was a sign of even more precious things to come. On Friday evening, one of our couples walked down to Ludington's North Breakwater Pier to watch the amazing sunset. When they returned, there was a beautiful ring on Angie's finger, and she was giggling and glowing from head to toe.
Tony and I enjoyed hearing lots of laughter every time we saw another one of our couples, back for their second getaway. We were whispering in the kitchen that there might be another engagement after Gloria received a lovely bouquet during Saturday's breakfast. Would you believe that very same afternoon, after a romantic trip to the top of the Big Sable Lighthouse, Gloria returned with a beautiful engagement ring on her finger.
