Ring in 2011 with 'Murder In An English Mansion!' December 30 & 31st There is a dinner & a mystery at the inn every Saturday in January 2011! Candlelite Inn Bed & Breakfast's murder mystery weekends attract guests from all around Michigan and surrounding states as well.  The inn has been featured on The Travel Queen with host Jane DeGrow, and there were half a dozen photos of our guests hamming it up on New Years Eve in the local Ludington Daily News. Candlelite Inn has three new bed and breakfast mysteries featuring the past and the future. These mysteries are Maiming of the Shrew, a Deadly Design, and Star Trek - The Next Generation, in which guests must figure out who has stolen the legendary Orb of Knowledge.  If you have a group of six or more, be our guests for a one or two night Ludington Michigan murder mystery! Just let us know what theme you would most enjoy, and we will take care of all the details.

Ludington Michigan Bed & Breakfast - Candlelite Inn Murder Mysteries: On the first evening of one of our Ludington Michigan bed and breakfast murder mysteries, guests gather together for an enjoyable reception (in costumes) featuring plenty of delicious appetizers and drinks. Afterwards it is time to get those first clues. The next morning, after a bountiful buffet breakfast, another round of murder mystery clues is given out, and probing questions are asked. Guests then have much of the day to explore the Ludington area, or just settle in and relax in the B&B. Later that afternoon, we gather with everyone back in costume, for more drinks and goodies, and plenty of good conversation. Then the detective joins the group again, and guests write down who they think did the dastardly deed. After this, the murder mystery group finds out just who the guilty party is, and then everyone meets for a fun dinner. Prizes are given out for the best female portrayal, best male portrayal, and to the person who guesses "who done it".

Candlelite Inn Bed & Breakfast has a good selection of games that are kept in the enclosed porch , and more often than not, guests will gather in the evenings to play anything from Trivial Pursuit to Clue and card games.  Tony and I really enjoy seeing our guests having such a wonderful time, and that really fills us with satisfaction.  Guests partaking in our murder mysteries often play games and cards into the wee hours.

Solve a mystery, savor delicious foods and treats, and just relax and enjoy a memorable getaway. Add $140 per couple plus the cost of your favorite room or suite.   January 2011 is murder mystery month here at Candlelite Inn! Every Saturday evening during the month of January, come and enjoy a special dinner, drinks, desserts and a mystery in the inn! You can come as you are for this one, or dress up a bit, although we have everything you need right here, including hats and beads and other accessories.
