2011 Aspiring Innkeeper Weekend & Inn Tours - No Extra Fees!!

Thinking of a career change, lifestyle change, a move in your life, or are you a new innkeeper in need of additional information? Come to our quaint port town of Ludington, located on Lake Michigan, complete with beautiful sandy beaches, dunes, an amazing state park, and not one but two lighthouses.
Aspiring innkeepers will find something very interesting and unusual. Seven historic B&B's are nestled here, all within walking distance of one another along Ludington Avenue. Throughout the weekend, attendees will be speaking with all of the innkeepers, and touring all seven inns to experience the uniqueness of each, from a charming one room Ludington Michigan bed and breakfast to a historical eight room bed and breakfast.
Friday evening - Welcome! After settling in, enjoy a wine and cheese and dessert reception and begin your networking right away. Meet and greet other aspiring innkeepers along with a diverse group of innkeepers representing seven different inns. Meet others with similar goals, and make some new friends. This reception is sponsored by Inn Broker Bob Fuehr The Inn Broker, Inc and the Ludington Historic Bed & Breakfast Association.
Saturday - After a beautiful breakfast at Candlelite Inn (you are welcome to observe behind the scenes too as you wish) all seven bed and breakfasts will be open for you to tour and ask the innkeepers anything that you are wish to know. We really appreciated all the wonderful feedback from our previous aspiring innkeepers and innsitters, and have gone above and beyond your excellent suggestions. You wanted an additional session to talk with innkeepers after all of the tours so you have got it! We have added a complimentary Saturday networking dinner immediately following your inn tours. Chat with other aspiring innkeepers and all of the Ludington Historic Bed & Breakfast Association innkeepers, ask extra questions that came to mind after tours, and enjoy a delicious dinner on us with new found friends.
Sunday - Enjoy another beautiful candlelight breakfast here at Candlelite Inn, and take advantage of a leisurely morning with a complimentary 1:00pm departure time. I want to make sure that you plenty of additional time to review books and materials, and ask those extra questions.
Throughout your stay, guests of Candlelite Inn will have complete access to my own personal "stash" of innkeeping books, materials, and other helpful information including marketing and resources, and even treasured recipes.
Cost for aspiring innkeeper attendees: No additional fees besides your room or suite rate.
This is the best part of all! Just select your favorite room or suite for two nights at Candlelite Inn, make your reservations in advance, and you are all set. There are NO extra fees for these very special aspiring innkeeper weekends. Enjoy a delightful breakfast each morning at the inn, all Candlelite Inn amenities, plus Friday evening wine and cheese and dessert reception, touring seven bed and breakfasts on Saturday (including us) plus a complimentary networking dinner Saturday evening.
